The PhD in Health Sciences (by Research) program promotes higher-order thinking for a summative approach, which will generate new knowledge and scholarship aimed at providing solutions to modern day health problems. The graduates of the program are expected to lead the country's efforts in discovery, research, innovation, and scientic advancement and to formulate feasible means to help address the health issues of developing countries, form part of the academe, and produce future scientists as well.
